As an adjunct to the Innovator’s dilemma, I keep thinking about the new technology prisoners dilemma that is currently playing out right in front of our eyes: incumbents implicitly cooperate to keep a powerful and potentially disruptive new tech in the lab for various reasons.
Prisoner's dilemma - greatly said. As the recent example of ChatGPT demonstrates, even if half-baked, a new technology can be successfully revealed to the public for as long as it is disruptive enough and provides enough value. But indeed, it's fascinating how the power play between the few incumbents in the tech industry must look behind the scenes.
Nice post
To wait is okay, it's not that bad.
